Bluestreak Lands Ad Veteran as New CEO
Newport, RI, September 14th, 2001 - Bluestreak, a leading online marketing technology company, today announced the appointment of Mr. Peter Corrao as the company's President and Chief Executive. Mr. Corrao, a seasoned veteran of Media and Advertising business, with over 20 yeas experience, will head Bluestreak’s worldwide operations.
Mr. Corrao comes from the San Francisco based Cogit Corporation, an ASP-based marketing technology company, where he was President and CEO. Under his leadership, Cogit became the pioneering provider in the emerging field of "Visitor Relationship Management" (VRM) services. Mr. Corrao led Cogit through the development of best of breed data and analytics, to optimize online content in real-time to significantly enhance website profitability. Prior to Cogit, he was the President, National Accounts Marketing at ADVO, America's pre-eminent provider of full service, direct mail marketing and one-stop micro-targeting products for the retail community, serving over 73 million households weekly. ADVO is a $1 billion, NYSE-listed company. The National Accounts Marketing Division at ADVO accounted for over $600 million in revenues.
