ValueClick Announces New Advertisers

May 29, 2001-- ValueClick Inc. (Nasdaq:VCLK), the net's leading provider of performance advertising solutions, today announced the addition of an impressive roster of new advertisers who have enlisted the company's services since the beginning of the year.

The signing of these new clients highlights ValueClick's ability to maximize and quantify the return on marketing investment for advertisers and direct marketers.

New clients span the company's divisions and international borders, and predominantly come from traditional industries such as consumer packaged goods, retail, pharmaceuticals, financial services, publishing, travel, automotive and communications.

Highlighting the list are such huge consumer and B2B brands as The Coca-Cola Co., eBay, Heineken, Sara Lee, Citigroup Inc., American Express, The Washington Post, British Airways, Hyatt, Michelin, Renault, CompuServe, iVillage, Panasonic, Sprint, Verizon and Western Union.

They join high profile customers BestBuy, Microsoft Corp., Providian Financial Corp., Intuit Inc. and many others that already enjoy the advantages of ValueClick's Performance Advertising offerings. Such offerings have made ValueClick one of the few profitable online ad networks.

"We are very pleased with both the number and the caliber of new advertisers who have signed on with ValueClick so far this year. We are particularly proud of the fact that many of these clients are testing out a variety of approaches in our integrated product line," said James Zarley, chairman and chief executive officer of ValueClick. "Advertisers and direct marketers are now recognizing that they can come to a single partner for a wide variety of performance-based interactive marketing approaches, such as banners, opt-in e-mail, affiliate programs, co-registration, wireless and ROI measurement.

"And they have also learned that because of ValueClick's focus on performance, they can rely on us for guidance and expertise as to the best mix of these approaches to achieve their unique objectives in the most cost-effective way."

ValueClick's products consist of the ValueClick and ClickAgents CPC banner networks, the OnResponse affiliate management program, and co-registration specialists ZMedia.
